Private Chauffeur Service in Los Angeles: What You Actually Get
A private chauffeur is not a taxi with nicer seats. It is a different arrangement entirely: one professional driver, one car held for you, and a plan built around your day instead of an app matching you to whoever is nearest. Here is what that means in practice in Los Angeles, and when it is genuinely worth it.
What you actually get
Our chauffeurs are suited, background-checked professionals who do this full time. They know which entrance your restaurant actually uses, which studio gate your meeting is behind, and when the 101 stops being an option. The car is prepared before every job: cabin cleaned, climate set, water on board, Wi-Fi on.
The fare is agreed before you book and it does not change. No surge multipliers on rainy Friday evenings, no recalculation because traffic was heavy. That single difference is why most of our clients stopped using rideshare for anything that matters.
When a private chauffeur beats the alternatives
- Days with several stops. Meetings across town, a lunch, an airport run at the end. One car and one driver holds the whole day together. This is what our hourly service is built for: the car and chauffeur stay with you, rate agreed upfront, no watching the clock between stops.
- Anything involving a flight. We track flights and include 30 minutes of free waiting on airport pickups. A rideshare driver cancels when your flight is late; your chauffeur adjusts.
- Client-facing travel. When you send a car for someone, the car is the first impression. Our business travel service handles roadshows, investor days and visiting executives with one coordinator across every booking.
- Evenings you want to enjoy. Dinner in Beverly Hills, a show at the Bowl, a wedding in Malibu. Nobody in your party drives, nobody parks, nobody waits for a surge to pass at midnight.
The cars
We run an electric-first fleet: the BMW i5 for everyday executive travel, the BMW i7 flagship when the back seat matters most, and the Chevrolet Suburban when seven people and their luggage need to move as one group. For occasions that call for something rarer, we arrange Rolls-Royce, Bentley and other prestige cars through partner operators and quote them for your date. The full lineup with rates is on the fleet page.
Where we work
We are based in Pasadena and cover Los Angeles and Orange County door to door, with airport service at LAX, Burbank, John Wayne, Long Beach and Ontario, plus the private FBO terminals. Whether the day starts in Glendale or ends in Newport Beach, one call covers it.
What it costs
Hourly hire starts at $80 per hour with a three hour minimum, and airport transfers start at $150 as a fixed fare. Your exact price depends on the car and the route, and it is quoted and agreed before you commit. Get a price in a few minutes on the booking page, or call (833) 327-0649 between 9am and 11pm any day and talk it through with a person.
How to get the most from it
- Book the whole day as hourly when you have three or more stops. It is usually cheaper than three separate transfers and infinitely more flexible.
- Share the day’s plan in advance. The more your chauffeur knows, the more problems get solved before you notice them.
- For guests, book the meet and greet at the airport. A name sign and a handled bag set the tone for the whole visit.
